Wells Fargo Bank in Bradenton Hit Up By Robber

The following is a press release from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office: 

At approximately 9:20 [Tuesday] morning, deputies responded to a bank robbery at Wells Fargo Bank located at 1510 Cortez Rd. W., Bradenton. 

According to witnesses, the suspect approached a teller and handed him a note demanding money.  A weapon was implied but not seen.  The suspect took an undetermined amount of money and fled the bank on foot. 

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 55-65 years old, 5’6” – 5’8”, 190-200 pounds with glasses. Anyone with information is asked to call MSO at 941-747-3011, ext. 2493 or Crime Stoppers at 866-634-TIPS.
