Men Robbed At Gunpoint While Changing Flat Tire

Three suspects in a black Honda Accord robbed two men Saturday on 21st Way East.

It's bad enough to have to change a flat tire in the middle of the night, but it's even worse when someone is robbed at gunpoint while doing it.

Two men found that out at 1:30 a.m. Saturday when they stopped on the 5000-block of 21st Way East in Bradenton to change their flat tire, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

While changing the tire, three suspects approached them in a black Honda Accord and robbed them of undisclosed items before fleeing in the Accord, according to the sheriff's office.

One suspect is described as a black male with long dread locks armed with a black handgun and another suspect was a black male wearing a camouflage jacket armed with a SKS assault rifle, according to the sheriff's office. The third suspect, the driver, didn't appear to be armed with a gun.
