Four Dogs, 5 Pigs, 3 Sheep Among Animals Seized from Bradenton Home in Cruelty Investigation

The following is a news release from the Bradenton Police Department: 


At approximately 10:00 a.m. [Wednesday] morning, deputies responded to several animals at an abandoned house located at 3804 38th Ave. E., Bradenton.

 

Deputies determined that the animals were not being cared for properly and plans were made to seize the animals.  Manatee County Animal Services took possession of four dogs while the Sheriff’s Office took five pigs, five roosters, three hens, three sheep and one lamb.

Deputies are attempting to locate the owner of the property.  The investigation continues with no charges at this time.
