FHP Asks for Helping in Finding Cadillac That Hit and Killed Pedestrian

Troopers are asking anyone with information to contact the highway patrol.

The Florida Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help as it investigates a crash that left a 38-year-old pedestrian dead.

The fatal crash took place on Oct. 20 at the intersection of US 301 and 30th Avenue East just after 9 p.m. The crash involved a dark blue four door Cadillac versus a pedestrian. 

Lowsandra D. Seabrooks of Bradenton was killed after she was hit by the Cadillac while crossing U.S. 301, according to a report from the Florida Highway Patrol.

Seabrooks was heading east across U.S. 301 at 30th Avenue East when she walked into the path of the 1989 Fleetwood Cadillac.

The right front of the car hit Seabrooks who died at the scene, according to the FHP report. Seabrooks was not inside the crosswalk when she was hit, according to the report.
