Deputies Need Help Identifying Robbery Suspect

The Manatee County Sheriff's Office is asking the public to help identify a man who robbed Walgreens pharmacy, 6003 14th St. W. at 10:15 p.m. Monday.

A security camera captured two images of a man who jumped the counter and demanded pills from the pharmacist. He escaped with an undisclosed number of pills. He was last seen running from the store. The sheriff's office released the photos this afternoon.

The suspect is described as a white man 5-feet-8-inches tall, 150 pounds, in his mid 20’s with medium length dirty blond hair, according to a report from the sheriff's office. He was wearing a tan shirt, black pants and sunglasses.
