Bradenton Police Officer Shares a Drink With Protestor at Republican Convention

A little girl was marching with her mom when the officer noticed her crying because she was thirsty.

A Squad of 18 Bradenton Police Officers are assisting the Tampa Police Department by working the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Several of the officers were working at a protest march when Sergeant Curtis Johnson noticed a little girl matching with her mother this week. The march spanned roughly twenty to thirty blocks through downtown Tampa at 4 p.m., while there was a 100-degree heat index.

Sergeant Johnson noticed the little girl crying because she was thirsty, so he shared his water with her.
