Veteran's Job Fair, Radio-thon, and Packing Party for MOTS

Military Veterans and their families are invited to the free Goodwill Job Fair at Ed Smith Stadium this Saturday, September 7th, 11 am to 4 pm.
Businesses looking for new hires will be right on site to talk to you and look at your resumes.  MOTS will be there with a table, giving away ink pens for those who have forgotten one or left it at the last table! Sometimes it's the little things that count. We will also be looking for more local deployed troops to serve.
Huge HOOAH'S going out to Gulf Coast Community Foundation for creating a most awesome new fundraiser for MOTS!
A 106.5 WCTQ Radiothon for Manasota Operation Troop Support will be held on September 11TH, 6AM TO 6PM.  "Helping Our Heroes". 106.5 WCTQ opens its microphones for Manasota Operation Troop Support (MOTS) to help make a difference in the lives of local deployed military personnel.
Stop by the Target plaza at University Parkway and Cattlemen Road to donate in person between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on 9/11. Or you can go online to Gulfcoastgives.org to easily donate from the comfort of your home or office.  At MOTS, we send monthly care packages to deployed troops with ties to Manatee and Sarasota counties who are serving in the Middle East. We also provide gap funding for things like gas cards, stress-relief activities, and other much-needed support for our returned heroes. Your donation during this daylong 9/11 Radiothon will ensure that local active-duty and retired military personnel and their families receive the care they need and deserve — before, during, and after deployment.
Reaching our goal of $15,000 will pay for postage for MOTS for an entire year as well as other vital assistance we provide!
