This will be a festive Christmas Packing Party for the Troops on Saturday as we fill stockings and care boxes for our local deployed troops serving in the Middle East!
Everyone is welcome. Just don't be late or you will miss it! The fun starts right at 9 a.m. at Manasota Operation Troop Support in Lakewood Business Park, 4301 32nd Street West, Suite C 20, Bradenton.
This past week has been a very busy one for MOTS with a float in the Palmetto Veteran's Day Parade and four days at the Siesta Key Sandsculpting Event where we raised money for MOTS by taking photos of visitors next to a Sculpted Sandy Snowman for their Christmas cards, lots of fun and sun.
Horses for Heroes has started back up this fall at SMART. Any Veterans with an interest in learning to groom and ride can call MOTS at 941-782-0748.
