“Anansi and the Tree of Life”
presented by Katie Adams' Make Believe Theater in the Fellowship Hall at Palma
Sola Presbyterian Church, 6510 3rd Ave. W., Bradenton on Sunday
afternoon, January 12th at 4:00 p.m.
The
great African Baobab tree is home to Anansi, the mischievous spider and all of
his animal friends. Katie Adams uses
African music, her colorful puppets, storytelling abilities and audience
participation to bring their stories to life.
She is known throughout the Southeast and performs regularly at the
Straz Center for the Performing Arts, Tampa. (Running time: 45 minutes. For ages 3 and up.) This performance is free and open to the
public with donations accepted towards
the Concert Series.
