Hungry for the Holidays?

So you have been shopping for gifts, wrapping presents, decorating the tree and the house and now you realize you haven't finished planning out the menu for Christmas day. And the thought of standing in the kitchen trying to pull off one more holiday feat has you exhausted.

Well here's some good news. There are a few restaurants open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Pier 22 is located right on the waterfront and the patio is the perfect place to spend Christmas when it's nearly 80-degrees outside. And Pier 22 is open from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are looking for an indoor buffet, the Lakewood Ranch Polo Grill is open from noon to 5 p.m.

For Island dining, there's Euphemia Haye, home to Bradenton's most famous chef Jamie Gregorich. the fine dining restaurant is open from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas day.

The Thai Palace one of the best Thai restaurants in Bradenton will be open from noon to 9 p.m. on Christmas day. If you don't think Christmas and Curry go together, there's always Spanish food at Sarasota's Columbia restaurant, but if you don't already have a reservation you'll have to eat late, (after 7 p.m.) in the Spanish style.
