When/where: Sunset at along the riverfront in downtown Bradenton.
Why go: This month's free, outdoor movie screening features "Justin Bieber: Never Say Never," the 2011 documentary/concert film starring the pop icon. Bring chairs and blankets or park your boat along the Manatee River. Event Sponsor Promenade at Riverwalk will offer a free ice cream cone to the first 50 people to tell the vendor "We love Promenade at Riverwalk!" There will also be other snacks and beverages available for purchase.

Why go: Snooty, Bradenton's favorite manatee, is turning 63 years old! To celebrate, the museum is hosting a birthday party that will include games and activites, a display of kids' birthday cards for Snooty, wildlife presentations and free juice and cookies and more.
Pricing: Free. There will also be reduced admission prices to the museum, planetarium and aquarium all day.

Why go: The high Single-A Marauders open a four-game homestand with the Cubs' affiliate. The M's have been drawing big crowds this year, already surpassing last year's attendance and setting a season and franchise record mark with 5,684 in attendance at their most recent home game Monday. There's also a kids fun run Sunday, where children can run the bases on the field after the game.
Pricing: Tickets are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for kids 12 and younger. Buy them online or at the McKechnie box office.
