1996 Dutchman Duck Pop-Up Camper = Needs Work but Doable - $647 (Parrish, FL - Manatee County)

For sale a 1996 Dutchman Pop-Up Camper sleeps 6-8 that needs the skin and overcoat for the roof replaced.

The camper is loaded otherwise and everything works. When we put the camper together we ran the fridge and the air conditioner, lights and stove, which all worked fine.

Here are pictures which takes you to a website of it fully open and extended camper. http://www.kitsmillerrv.com/cf/store/productphotoresultsp.cfm?productid=3843 . These are stock pictures. These are not my pictures but this is what the camper looks like when fully open.

Not seen is a brand new awning that extends from the camper which creates a little overhang for sitting outside.

However, this camper needs roof work. It has been partially repaired with a new aluminum frame which was built last year. The side panels are outdoor wood. All of the plywood has been replaced. The roof needs to be sealed and finished. The ceiling needs to be repaired. . Here are some photos of when I removed the roof which was made of plywood and created a new roof made of aluminum. This is not how the camper looks now. These are only to show the work that has gone into repairing the roof. Pictures of the repairs I made last year:

We don't have the time to complete the project so we are selling it for $647.00.

It will need a new spare tire.

If you are handy this could be a good project for you. The result will be a good camper you can use for camping or fishing trips.

You can take the camper to a marine or RV repair to have the roof sealed which will cost a few hundred dollars you can do it yourself. However, once the camper is in good working order, you will have a camper worth $3000 or more. The final product will be worth the investment.

It is stored outside in Parrish, Fl which is where it will need to be towed from.

The canvas is in very good shape. There are no tears. In fact, the vinyl which are the windows is still clear and has not yellowed as sometimes happens over time.

Here are some RECENT photos when we opened it up to obtain pictures to sell it. It has been closed and stored for several months. Note that we did not assemble the camper. The pictures you see below are as the camper is now mostly folded up. We took out the bedding and the extended frames for the photos so we could show the interior. It will need a good cleaning and the roof will need to repaired and sealed. The ceiling will need minor repairs too.
