Syprett Meshad attorneys Resnick and Krotec receive AV Preeminent® ratings

Aug. 5, 2013 / Sarasota, Fla. — Attorneys Michael L. Resnick and Peter J. Krotec, of the Sarasota-based law firm Syprett Meshad, have been given AV Preeminent® ratings through a peer review process facilitated by the Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings™. Both attorneys received a rating of 4.9 out of 5.0 in Family Law; Mr. Resnick received the same rating in Litigation.

A founding partner and current president of Syprett Meshad, Michael L. Resnick has focused his practice on marital and family law practice for more than 40 years. His cases involve marital dissolution and post-dissolution issues involving marital assets, complex property division issues, custody, alimony, child support, visitation, and modification of marital settlement agreements. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida, the United States District Court of Florida and the United States Supreme Court; he is the current Vice Chairman of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee.

Peter J. Krotec is a partner of Syprett Meshad. His practice is devoted to marital and family law, and he has over 25 years experience practicing the law of domestic relations both at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Krotec's practice is focused primarily on dissolution of marriage, including the division and distribution of assets and liabilities; determination of parenting plans, parental responsibilities, and timesharing for minor children; support issues, including alimony and child support; establishment of paternity; and, modification proceedings involving marital settlement agreements and/or Final Judgments. He is licensed and admitted to practice before all Florida state courts as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
