Since Monday was a holiday, the work week is only beginning for many people. But it's never too early to think about beer, craft beer.
And tickets are now on sale for the 6th Annual Bradenton Beer Festival: Mardi Gras. The Feb. 2nd charity event will take place in downtown Bradenton from 4-8 p.m.
The Mardis Gras-themed event will have Creole food and beer to sample in the streets of downtown Bradenton.In fact, there will be more than 80 beers to sample from the craft beer scene, as well as tasty treats from 10 food trucks.
With over 40 Breweries represented, you will be able to find a style that best fits you. Goose Island, Sweet Water Brewery, and Green Flash are some new to Florida Breweries worth a look. Local Brewery Little Giant and Darwins on 4th will be in attendance.
Highlighting the New Orleans-themed event will be music by the ever popular Gumbo Boogie Band performing in the streets of Downtown Bradenton, joined by Mumbo Jumbo band.
This year's ticket is $30 for Beer Samples, and if you purchase your tickets ahead of time at local bars you'll get a $5 discount.
Food Truck Tickets sell for $10 with $1 going to No Kill of Manatee.
A VIP ticket of $50 is available, which starts 1 hour early and has rare beers, and a crawfish boil is available @ the Lost Kangaroo Pub.
100% of the Proceeds from the event benefit Support No Kill Manatee, working toward saving all of the adoptable pets at our Manatee County Animal Services shelter.
