Habitat's ReStore Offers Black Friday Deals

The jolly elf is set to visit the thrift store the day after Thanksgiving.

Habitat for Humanity's local thrift stores are offering special  “Black Friday” savings on all items at two locations. 

Bradenton's Cortez Store location will offer deals all day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with discounts up to 35 perent off. The Tallevast store at 1227 Hardin Avenue will open at 7 a.m. and offer 50 percent off everything until 8 a.m. The Tallevast store remains open until 7 p.m. with all items at 25 percent off throughout the day. Santa is expected to pay a visit from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Refreshments and door prizes will be available at both locations.

Proceeds from the sales at Habitat ReStores help support the local Manatee Habitat affiliate and helps build Habitat homes. Donation pickup of resalable items is free and available by calling 941-355-7082.

Manatee County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical, volunteer-based organization dedicated to building homes in partnership with low-income families who need safe, decent, affordable housing.

The Manatee County Habitat for Humanity Affiliate was chartered in the summer of 1994 and has built 106 homes with the help of donors, families and volunteers.
