Another Day, Another Funnel Cloud in Bradenton

This one apparently popped up Monday evening in the Lakewood Ranch area. Did you spot it?

Another day, another funnel cloud is spotted in Bradenton.

This time it was in the Lakewood Ranch area, where several photos posted on the Web and social media showed a cloud gathering in the sky around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

MySuncoast.com posted several photos of a funnel cloud near State Road 70 and Interstate 75. Manatee County Emergency Management shared several more on its Facebook page.

WFLA meteorologist Steve Jerve tweeted a photo of the cloud forming.

Funnel clouds and waterspouts have been popping up all over the Tampa Bay area in the past few weeks. Several Bradenton Patch readers shared their photos of a funnel cloud that formed in Bradenton last week and that damaged several mobile homes in Palmetto.
