More people are climbing on the Powerball bandwagon for the latest jackpot. Numbers for Powerball will be drawn Wednesday night.
The Powerball jackpot appears to be so enticing for millions across America that it's increasing by the day. On Tuesday, the jackpot was at $320 million, increasing from $305 million over the weekend when nobody hit the big time. It stands as the fourth largest jackpot in Powerball history, according to lottery officials. The jackpot increased because so many people are buying tickets, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. The cash lump sum equates to $213.3 million, according to the Inquirer. The Inquirer puts the jackpot's rise in perspective: In just one week, the top annuity prize, payable in 30 yearly checks, has risen by $108 million. If this one rolls over, expect a new Powerball record, possibly shattering the $365 million annuity hit…
