Man said he was golfing when the burglary occurred at his Palm Court neighborhood home.
While a Bradenton resident hit the links Saturday, a burglar entered his home and took more than just a few links of watches. The Manatee County Sheriff's Office responded to the 4900 block of 61 Avenue Terrace West in the Palm Court development for a burglary where $30,000 worth of watches, necklaces and other jewelry was stolen from a bedroom, according to a sheriff's office report. The victim returned home from golfing and found his rear sliding door open, according to the sheriff's office. If anyone has information, call the sheriff's office at (941) 747-3011.

Two Bradenton brothers are facing dealing in stolen property charges after an undercover investigation revealed they were selling stolen jewelry out of their Sarasota gas station. Undercover detectives in a joint operation with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office and Sarasota Police Department visited the First Stop Citgo, 919 N. Washington Blvd., Sarasota, over a five month period when Rami Ibsais, 43 and Saed Ebsais, 41, both of 6023 44th Court East, Bradenton, sold law enforcement the jewelry, according to the probable cause affidavits.
