If it's February, that means travel pieces on Bradenton to get Pittsburgh Pirates fan ready for Spring Training. The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review published a piece Saturday telling folks that "Baseball isn't the only game in town in Bradenton, Fla." But if you are here for baseball, Spring Training starts Tuesday when pitchers and catchers report to Pirate City and the full team shows up Friday to work out. The first home game is against the Atlanta Braves on Feb. 24. McKechnie Field also underwent an extensive renovation, too. I am from Clarion Pa moved here in bradenton a yr and a half ago love it My hubby is a family practice doc and residency director .I have a couple of suggestions Skinnys burgers and frosted mugs of beer!voted best burger on the island also relish cafe on pine ave anna maria island and cafe aulaite on cortez and 51 st st the bomb! more ›
