Continuing downtown FDOT road project will force temporary closure starting Monday.
A portion of Third Street West will be temporarily closed off to traffic for about two weeks starting Monday, according to a news release. The street will be closed to the north of Manatee Avenue (State Road 64) to Third Avenue West so crews can install a new water line. The temporary closure is expected to last through Feb. 4. Business access during the closure will be available from Third Avenue West and Seventh Street West.
