At Sarasota Improv Festival, Expect the Unexpected
Troupes from Florida, Boston, Atlanta, Austin and Chicago are set to perform Friday and Saturday at Sarasota's Florida Studio Theatre.
Ten improv troupes from around the country will bring their unscripted, spontaneous acts to Florida Studio Theatre's fourth annual Sarasota Improv Festival on Friday and Saturday. To fit all the comedy into the one-weekend show, FST is using both the Goldstein Cabaret and Keating Theatre with some shows running simultaneously. Returning troupes include Dad's Garage from Atlanta and Available Cupholders from Austin, Texas. Newcomers include HITMEN and Stacked from Chicago, said Rebecca Hopkins, FST's managing director and founder and director of Sarasota Improv Festival.
