The Moore School, located along 43rd Street West, has the charm of an old-time schoolhouse, with a statue of children playing on a see-saw stationed outside its inviting white building. There is a white picket fence surrounding a recreation area in the backyard.

The school teaches students from the preschool to second-grade levels according to the Montessori method. Leadership is provided by Dr. Robert Moore, headmaster, and AMI Montessori-certified teacher Linda Moore. Parents of prospective students are welcome to stop in for a visit. Hot lunches are provided for students for a small fee.
