MTI's East Campus includes the Richard T. Conrad M.D. Medical and Dental Building (built in 2001), the Fire Sciences Training Facility and burn tower (built in 2007) and the Charlie Wells Law Enforcement Academy (built in 2008). These facilities offer classroom instruction as well as hands-on clinical training. Students are trained by experts in their fields and receive a certificate of completion. Tuition is free for Manatee County high school students, but they must pay lab fees.
