It's a Cuban espresso bar with cappuccino and lattes, but you can also order such interesting concoctions as Dirrrrrrty Chai, Jamaican Me Crazy (tea and coffee, respectively), and Pajama Princess and To Da Vain Alice (fruit smoothies, and don't you wonder who Alice is?). The coffee shop also has sandwiches for breakfast and lunch, soup and salads, homemade ice cream and a nice selection of baked goods.

But all that isn't what makes Lov A-Da a gem; that would be the ambience inside. You can sit at the counter or at a table up front. You can select a private booth midway or venture a bit further into the shop and you'll find big leather chairs to lounge in. You can also buy a daily, weekly or monthly pass and check out Lov-A-Da Kids located in an adjoining space - two words: video games.

Of course like any coffee shop worth its foam there is free Wi-Fi, and Lov A-Da also has computers and printers that you can use to read and print your e-mail. There's entertainment including karaoke nights, live music by local bands and open mic night each Saturday at 8 p.m. Lov A-Da can also accommodate small meetings or groups in the lounge by appointment.
