I love everything about Fire&Stone.. Jason, i understand you were upset with that hostess, but that shouldn't ruin your experience. There are new girls with better and more posotive attitudes. You should definitly come back and try it out again!

After just moving to the city of Bradenton half a decade ago we decided one Saturday to explore longboat key all the way down to Saint Armonds Circle. After a nice day of exploring we journeyed back north along Gulf Drive and turned onto Cortez from the beach to head home.

Being late in the afternoon we were hungry and were discussing what we wanted for dinner. Only a minute or two away from the beach we spotted the former “Capalbos” (Now Fire and Stone) and decided to stop.

After the new owners and remodel the best even became better. The quality of the ingredients grew to the highest, you can order any two toppings on half the pizza you like, their very fresh salad bar with delicious homemade soups offers great variety, and you also get an ice cream desert with your choice of flavored toppings. What’s best is the quality of food and you get all you want for a very reasonable price affordable to any budget.

We’ve been going back frequently ever since and dine there with our family every time they visit. My whole family loves it!

Their pizza is delicious and I always see how hard they work to please everyone. They even know what type of toppings we like and start that pizza as soon as they see us enter. Now that’s quality service!

I give them my personal highest rating. If you have a craving for delicious pizza, soup, salad bar, and desert for a very affordable price.

The pizza is actually pretty good here and I used to take my family there once a month until a recent awful experience with the hostess. She's pretty much always annoying but on this night she took it to another level. They have a hard line plicy about not seating anyone after 9 which is understandable. I walk in with my one-year old at 8:40 and I'm awaiting my wife and her friend. The lady came by the table three times in five minutes to remind me that they need to be here by 9 or they can't eat. I reassure here yet again that they are only minutes away. I get a plate of food and am just about the feed my son when she comes up again and tells me it's five til 9 and they can't seat anyone else, but we can get takeout. This woman was so annoying I picked up my son and walked out without a word only because I had my son with me and didn't want to make a scene. Avoid this place like the plague unless you want an annoying lady with a bowlcut to harrass you all night.
