The Humane Society at Lakewood Ranch needs some extra special help from friends, neighbors and supporters.
This young beagle, shown in two photos, is sweet, friendly and an escape artist! She ran away from the shelter, at 7334 Trade Court, on Wednesday night.
She is wearing a pink harness. She is probably hot and thirsty in the Florida sun.
So keep an eye out for her. When dogs do not know their surroundings, they sometimes run in fear until they exhaust themselves.
This pup is less than a year old. Call the shelter right away if you spot her. The number is 941-907-0778.
