Dogs Help Fight Cancer at Bark in the Park

Families and their dogs come together for a short walk to honor cancer survivors and the caregiving qualifies of their canine friends.

Dogs and their families are coming together this month for a Relay for Life event benefitting the American Cancer Society.

The Sept. 30 event features dogs who offer caregiving qualities throughout cancer treatments. Bark for Life is a non-competitive walking event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society’s fight against cancer.

Families and their dogs come together for a few hours and complete a short walk to honor the caregiving qualifies of their canine “Best Friends” and cancer survivors.

There will also be doggie games, a dress up contest for the dogs, music, food, and special dog guest demonstrations. Recognition for team and community fundraising and top fundraising dog.

The event takes place Sunday, Sept. 30 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at , 400 Cypress Creek Blvd.

Registration is required. Registration is $10 per dog (limit of 2 dogs per person)
in advance or $25 day of event, it is $5 per person without a dog.

Sponsorships and booths are available.
