A special invite to all ‘60s era hippies and beatniks, witches, shamans, pagans, spiritualists, metaphysical and quantum physic advocates, and all who are looking for an alternative to what we have now.
Please join us on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the two-block area from 1000 to 120 10th Avenue West in the Village of the Arts. Dig out your love beads, headbands, paisley prints and bell bottoms, and enjoy an early evening of fun and new experiences.
Dig out your love beads, headbands, paisley prints and bell bottoms, and enjoy an early evening of fun and new experiences. “A New Age on Tenth” in the Village of the Arts celebrates both Eastern and Western spiritual and metaphysical traditions and infuses them with influences from self-help and motivational psychology, holistic health, parapsychology, consciousness research and quantum physics. The goal is to create a spirituality without borders or confining dogmas, one that is inclusive and pluralistic.
Village Voices has invited authors who will discuss their books, their spiritualism, their philosophies and how it affects overall health and well-being. Meet and greet authors of Unveiling the Modern Goddess, Manifesting Abundance, Prison Dreams and God Speaks in Dreams, Ancestral Spirits, The Father's Three Gifts, A Hospice Nurse Sees the Many Faces of God and Ruth Fishel's numerous inspirational guides to live by.
The Village Mystic will offer a range of "alternative healing modalities", BioMat Sessions, Acoustical Vibrational Chair, Reiki and healing messages from two of the Ancient Crystal Skulls AzKa and ZaKa. Nationally known Intuitive Psychic Rolando Rodriguez will be available for "mini" readings. A representative from "A String and a Prayer" will be on hand to make personalized Prayer Mala Beads
Tenth Avenue Gallery will have art by patients, created as a form of healing emotionally. They also have a licensed past life regression hypnotist holding group therapy.
Blue Marschmello will feature the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti in our garden and Om Gaia will have a presence in front of the gallery.
Blue Room Studios is hosting a "Your Path to Your Power" where guests will be guided through their energy connection, while nature's orchestra accompanies the journey through the mystical gardens of the The Dancing Crane Gallery.
The Dancing Crane Gallery features artists using spiritualism in their artwork and a presentation by Jacquelin McKenzie on Flower Essences, their properties, and healing aspects. Healing oils will be demonstrated by Donna Bath. The gallery will round up their offerings with Cheryl Grace, a Feng Shui consultant, author, and motivational speaker, who will be doing intuitive readings. (Bring a photo of a room in your home if you wish.)
Charisma Cafe will offer healthy, alternative food choices, an herbal tea seminar, Brent MacPhail, a therapist specializing in Emotional Freedom Therapy will show you how to use EFT to deal with minor emotional trauma, and Elissa Bentson, a licensed hypnotherapist will offer free group past-life regression sessions. Sign up for any or all of three of these life enhancing sessions.
Sweets Bakehouse will feature baking with all natural ingredients. In addition to hosting The Village Mystic, they plan to feature aura photography by F8 Gallery owner, Matt Allison.
We have two psychics from Orlando, a palmist and tarot card readers. A contingent from the local SGI Buddhists will be setting up an information table and showing videos. SGI is based on the teachings and philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism, which places the highest emphasis on the sanctity of life. Members seek, through their practice of Buddhism, to develop the ability to live with confidence, to create value in any circumstance and to contribute to the well-being of friends, family and community.
Please join us as we celebrate A New Age on Tenth.
