Whenever I meet someone for the first time they usually ask me what I do for a living. I then tell them that I am basically a bum because I am now retired. They laugh and then ask what I do with all my free time. I tell them that I love to read, volunteer at an elementary school, and I'm a volunteer at the Prospect Riding Center where we work with students and adults with all kinds of physical, behaviorial or learning impairments. We provide individual care and attention to teach them to ride, develop core muscle strength, balance, flexibility and self confidence.
