Suncoast Community Capital Offering FREE Small Business Seminar in Palmetto

Come and learn what it takes to start your own business! Have you been thinking about starting your own business?  Do you have what it takes to do so?  Do you live north of the Manatee River?  

Suncoast Community Capital (SCC), a Manatee County-based not-for-profit organization, is partnering with the City of Palmetto and the Palmetto CRA to offer a FREE small business and small business lending seminar on Tuesday, September 17 from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at the Palmetto Library located at 923 6th Street West in Palmetto.

The seminar is open to the public and aimed at small business owners living north of the Manatee river who have up to five employees or lending needs of up to $15,000. It is also open to anyone interested in doing business in the area.

Representatives from the City of Palmetto, the Palmetto CRA, Manatee County Government, Bank of America, Manatee Community Federal Credit Union and SCC will be on hand to discuss their small business services. In addition, the seminar will include discussions on small business coaching, microlending possibilities and opportunities for new businesses north of the Manatee River.

The seminar is the FIRST in a series of five presentations scheduled throughout Manatee County and is made possible thanks to a generous gift from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation.
