Sweetbay Moves Up Closings of Bradenton Stores
The Sweetbay grocery store at 5201 33rd St. E. officially closed Monday. Another at 8750 State Road 70 E. is closing Tuesday.
One Sweetbay Supermarket in Bradenton has closed its doors as part of a company-wide shuttering of under-performing stores, and another is slated to follow Tuesday, according to an article on TBO.com.
The two stores were among 33 Sweetbays scheduled to close in February. The Sweetbay at 5201 33rd St. E. officially closed Monday, TBO reports, while the store at 8750 State Road 70 E. is closing Tuesday.
Many stores began liquidation sales in the last 2 weeks, with some stores offering as much as 50 percent off.
