Was Sheena Morris' 'Suicide' the Result of Foul Play?

A state panel will release its review into the police investigation of her death.

A review of the Bradenton Police investigation into 22-year-old Sheena Morris' death will be released by a state law enforcement panel today, according to media reports.

Morris' death had been ruled a suicide by local police after she was found hanging in a Bradenton Beach hotel room on Jan. 1, 2009.

The findings are expected to be released to Bradenton Beach Police Chief Sam Speciale, according to the Bradenton Herald.

The woman's family had pleaded for the review, suspecting that Morris might have died as the result of foul play.

The panel reviewing the investigation is known as the Specialized Multi-Agency Review Team, or SMART.
