U.S. Marshals Shoot Bradenton Homicide Suspect

The man wanted in a shooting at DaVinci's did not sustain life threatening injuries.

The Florida Fugitive Task Force from the United States Marshals Service in Tampa was involved in shooting of a homicide suspect wanted in Manatee County, according to a report from the U.S. Marshals' office.

Javier Aguilar, 23, was wanted in the May shooting death of Natividad Faudoa, 32 in the parking lot at DaVinci's nightclub. Aguilar was shot and injured Tuesday morning in Lakeland. He was taken to a Polk County Hospital and is expected to survive.

Two Deputy United States Marshals and a Task Force Officer were involved in the shooting at shortly after 10 a.m. at 7701 Habersham Drive in Lakeland.

Aguilar is wanted by the Manatee County Sheriff's Office on charges of second degree homicide and charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm. The shooting is currently under investigation by the Florida Department of Law
Enforcement and the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
