Shotgun-Toting Man Robs 2 Bradenton 7-Elevens

The man made off with cash in both robberies early Friday morning, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

Authorities are looking for a man who they say robbed two 7-Eleven convenience stores in Bradenton using a sawed-off shotgun in the early morning hours Friday.

The robber entered the 7-Eleven at 2603 53rd Ave. W. at 2:42 a.m., pointed the shotgun at the clerk and demanded money, according to a Manatee County Sheriff's Office report. The man made off on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Authorities say the man then did the same thing at the 7-Eleven at 5904 42nd Ave. W. at 3:15 a.m.

No one was injured in either robbery.

The man detectives are looking for wore all black clothing and was between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-1 and was 20 to 30 years old, authorities said.
