Police Searching for Suspect who Stole Beer, Cigarettes

When the victim said he did not have any money, the suspect allegedly grabbed the victim's bag full of beer and cigarettes.

Bradenton Police are searching for a 43-year-old man who fled after he snatched beer and cigarettes from another man.

Andrew Harris, 54, was carrying a bag with beer and cigarettes that he just purchased from a store when suspect Todd Connick approached him, according to police.

Connick, according to the police report, demanded money from Harris who said he did not have any.  Police said Connick then took the bag from Harris and pushed him to the ground causing a minor scrape to his right arm.

Police said Connick then fled north on foot with the items in hand. He has not been found.

According to the police report, Connick is an acquaintance of Harris.
