Pedestrian Hit While Crossing Against the Light

The 46-year-old was hospitalized in serious condition.

A 46-year-old Bradenton man is in serious condition at Blake Medical Center after he was hit by a car while crossing against the light.

Robert A. Hall was in the crosswalk heading east across 26th Street West just north of 53rd Avenue West as a 2006 Ford Ranger was approaching from the east, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.

Michael J. Mullins, 26, proceeded to make a left turn to go north on 26th Street West during the yellow signal and did not see Hall in the crosswalk. The right side of Mullins' Ford Ranger struck Hall on the right side.

No charges were filed in the accident.
