Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle at McDonald's
The 21-year-old man ran into the path of a vehicle as he crossed the driveway into the fast food restaurant, investigators say.
A 21-year-old Venice man suffered serious injuries when he ran into the path of a vehicle at the entrance to McDonald's in Sarasota, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Andrew Delong ran across the access road to McDonald's, at 1720 South Tamiami Trail, and into the path of a Nissan Altima driven by 57-year-old Debbie Austin of Indianapolis, Ind. The left front of the vehicle struck Delong. He was transported to Blake Memorial Hospital.
