Crash Leaves One Dead, Two Critical

The early morning crash took place in a west Bradenton neighborhood.

A 20-year-old man Bradenton was killed and his two passengers are in critical condition after a 2:30 a.m. crash in a west Bradenton neighborhood, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

According to an FHP report:

Darian T. Everett, of 2203 N Wellesley Drive Dr. in Bradenton, was speeding north on 34th Street West near 49th Avenue Drive West when he lost control of his 1972 Chevy Nova.

The Nova rotated clockwise and hit a utility pole. The car continued moving northeast and hit a Ford Explorer in a driveway at 4815 34th St West. After it hit the parked car, the Nova overturned.

Everett was pronounced dead when emergency medical personnel arrived. His two passengers Mitchell Shreves, 19 of 3804 17th Ave W. and Stephanie Lanham, 20, of 7127 50th Ave. Cir E., Palmetto, were taken to Blake Hospital. Both Shreves and Lanham are listed in critical condition.
