Man Loses Pants in Strong Arm Robbery by Women, Deputies Say

A 47-year-old man told authorities that he was robbed by a trio of females in shorts he met at a Bradenton hotel bar and then invited back to his room.

A hotel guest who made the mistake of inviting a trio of women he met at the Siesta Inn bar back to his room was allegedly robbed of his pants and struck on the head with a weapon, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say that the 47-year-old victim was staying at the Siesta Inn, at 2303 First St., Bradenton, when he struck up a conversation with the women at the bar. All three women were dressed in shorts.

He invited the women back to his room. When the suspects arrived and knocked on the door, the victim answered but was pushed down on the bed and his pants – containing his wallet and other personal items – were removed, he later told authorities.
