Fire Fighters Battle Blaze at Aloha Estates

Damages were estimated at approximately $30,000.

Fire officials are investigating a case of arson after the Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue responded to a mobile home fire today at Aloha Estates Mobile Home Park, 5310 14 St. W, Lot 32.

Three fire engines, a Battalion Chief, Manatee County Emergency Medical Services, and other staff responded. Cedar Hammock units arrived 4 minutes after receiving the call, according to a report from the fire department.  

According to the report:

One mobile home was fully involved and approximately 50 yards to the north a second mobile home was found heavily involved in fire. On scene units had both fires under control within 15 minutes. No injuries were reported.

Damages were estimated at approximately $30,000.

The cause of the fire was intentional and is being investigated by Cedar
Hammock Fire Rescue personnel as well as the State Fire Marshal's office which
was called in to assist.
