Fire Causes $56,000 in Home Damages

There were no injuries in the fire and the cause is still under investigation by Bradenton Fire Department.

The Bradenton Fire Department responded to a residential fire at 121 7th St. Ct at 5:59 p.m. Tuesday to find fire coming from the bedroom window and thick smoke coming out of the front door. 

According to authorities, firefighters were able to control the blaze to the single-family residence by 6:14 p.m.

There are no reported injuries and one resident is being assisted by the Red Cross. 

Damage to the home is estimated at $56,000. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Bradenton Fire Department, a news release said.
