Authorities say this man may have been a passenger in one of the cars involved in a drive-by shooting that left a 4-year-old with a head wound.

Authorities have identified a person of interest in the accidental shooting of a 4-year-old Bradenton boy on Saturday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies are asking for help finding Horatio Paillion, 20, who was possibly in the suspect’s vehicle, according to the report.

The boy was caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting that occurred on 36th Avenue West, Bradenton at 11 a.m. Saturday. He was reportedly in his bedroom at the time of the shooting and suffered bullet wound to the head. He remains hospitalized and is in stable condition, a report said.

At first, the MCSO thought the home of the boy and his mother was the target of the shooting, however, detectives now believe vehicle was actually aiming at another vehicle, but one of the rounds happened to enter their home, according to a report.
