Deputies Investigate a Shooting That Left Man in Critical Condition
The 25-year-old is recovering in the hospital.
A 25-year-old man is in critical condition at Blake Medical Center after being shot late Thursday night.
Witler Dieujuste remain hospitalized with a gunshot wound. The Manatee County Sheriff's Office in investigating the Thursday night shooting at 2716 4th Street West.
Deputies were called out to the residence at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived Dieujuste was leaning on a car in front of the address, according to a sheriff's report.

Deputies noted that in addition to the gunshot wound, Dieujuste smelled strongly of marijuana. He was taken to Blake hospital where he’s listed in stable condition.
