The following is a news release from the Manatee County Sheriff's Office:
Detectives have arrested [71-year-old] George Ford, of Bradenton, and charged him with one count of Sexual Performance by a Child.
Ford was arrested [Thursday] afternoon without incident.

The investigation began when detectives received information that an unknown subject uploaded an inappropriate image of a juvenile female. Subsequent investigation showed the e-mail address belonged to Ford.
Detectives continued the investigation and discovered a child pornographic video on Ford’s computer. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant on November 6 and Ford was arrested [Thursday] afternoon.
