Boyfriend Arrested After Stating 'I'm Going To Kill You': Deputies

26-year-old David Epperson choked, beat, bound and threatened the victim, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

A Bradenton man was arrested and charged with false imprisonment after an violent incident with his girlfriend Friday night.

According to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office, 26-year-old David Epperson got into a verbal argument with his girlfriend, at which time he put his hands around her neck until she couldn't breathe and began to pass out.

The report states Epperson stopped and allowed the 31-year-old woman to remain consciousness, then he took his shirt, wrapped it around her neck and began choking her and stated, "I'm going to kill you!"

The victim remembers the suspect tapping her in the face until she regained consciousness, at which time he bound her hands and feet with duct tape, according to the police report.

Epperson then battered the victim some more before releasing her.

MCSO deputies located Epperson and arrested him.
