Armed Robbery Suspects Kick in Bradenton Apartment Door

The three men robbed a couple as they were lying in bed with a baby, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

Three armed men kicked in the front door of a Bradenton apartment and robbed a couple as they were lying in bed with a baby Wednesday morning, the Manatee County Sheriff's Office reports.

According to the victims, the 40-year-old woman and her boyfriend were in bed when two of the suspects entered the bedroom in their home at Royal Palm Terrace Apartments, in the 2600 block of 49th Drive East, around 12:24 a.m.

One of the gunmen told them to "give me all you got," and the boyfriend got out his wallet and handed over an undetermined amount of cash, according to the sheriff's report.

A third suspect stayed in the living room with another occupant of the house, a 20-year-old woman, and told her to "stay calm and chill out," according to the sheriff's report.

All three men were armed with handguns; one of the guns was described as "extremely small." Two of the handguns were black and one was silver.

The suspects fled the scene, deputies said.

The men are described as wearing dark clothes, masks, bandanas and gloves. They stood between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9 with thin builds.
