19-Year-Old Shot in Hand During Robbery

Authorities are searching for information about two suspects they say tried rob a 19-year-old man in east Bradenton, shooting him in the hand when he resisted, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The victim arrived at hospital with a gunshot wound, according to a report. He said he was walking on the 300 block of 60th Avenue East, heading to his friends house, when he was approached by two men in dark hoodies, one of whom had a firearm, according to a report.

The victim said he tried to grab the fire arm and it went off, shooting him in the hand, a report states.

The two men fled in different directions, the report said. They are both described as being black males around 20 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds.
