A reward to find Rene Salinas' killer or killers has been upped to $15,000.
The announcement was made Wednesday to help find out who shot Salina on Dec. 9, as he drove his car.
The Bradenton man was driving at the intersection of 27th Street East and 13th Avenue East at about 3:15 a.m. when omeone in another vehicle on 13th Avenue West fired a gun at Salinas' vehicle and continued driving.

Salinas was hit by a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
With no suspects, organizers are hoping the promise of a reward will jog some memories.

So far family and friends of Salinas gave $9,000, with Crime Stoppers adding $1,000.
Gold Star Club of Manatee has stepped up to add another $5,000.
