Doggy Day Care! Coastal Canine Cottage LLC

Doggy day care in Bradenton ... featuring dog events, dog behavior and our cutie pies at Coastal Canine Cottage.

Welcome to the blog about Coastal Canine Cottage, a new doggy day care in Bradenton!

       About the owners/caregivers:

I am Lisa Williams. My kids are grown and out of the house and it was too quiet, so, I started my rescue, Moonracer No Kill Animal Rescue Inc in Bradenton.  Certainly, my house  isn't quiet anymore!  Other animal-related jobs I've held and volunteered for are: Interning on an elephant sanctuary, caring for a herd of 15 elephants for a summer, walking six years as a volunteer for AMI Turtle Watch and working as an animal abuse investigator for an international animal group. I met my own dog in Mississippi when I went there to help misplaced and injured animals in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. His portrait has been painted in the welcome area of Coastal Canine Cottage by local artist, Tracy Moore. Tracy Moore is responsible for the extreme cuteness of the doggy day care!

Angela McCallister lives in Holmes Beach and  you may know her as she has worked at the Cortez Kitchen for years.  She has been a foster 'mom' for many cats and dogs, has a magic touch with them and an understanding of pet behavior.  Angela has also worked as a vet technician at Paws Plus, a mobile clinic in Sarasota. Her love for animals was the inspiration for Coastal Canine Cottage LLC!

Coastal Canine Cottage is a fun, safe place for your dogs to play, receive exercise and a whole lot of love between the hours of 7am-7 pm. We're open Monday through Friday and will be open on weekends, if needed. We meet all of the dogs and their people before they begin day care so we understand their needs and personalities, so please make an appointment for an interview. All dogs coming to day care must be current on vaccinations and we request that they be on flea preventative/control.

Your dog will be loved like crazy all day, have a lot of playtime and be supervised at all times. Bring your dog if you have to run errands, go to work, have to be away for the day or if your pup just likes to play! We'll be having doggy birthday parties, fashion shows and parties throughout the year and will post featured dogs here on the Patch blog!

You can find us at: 8819 Cortez Road., W, Bradenton, 34210. www.coastalcaninecottage.com and on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CoastalCanineCottageLlc. Our number is 941-243-3990.

Looking forward to meeting your dog! Lisa & Angela
