Help Our Heroes Radiothon, 106.5 CTQ, 12 hours, Commercial Free

On September 11th, Wednesday, from 6am to 6pm join 106.5 CTQ to show your support for Manatee and Sarasota County Deployed troops to the Middle East, and their families here at home. Located at Cattleman and University, with a 12 hour window to attend, everyone should find it easy to fit into their busy Patriot's Day schedule honoring our first responders and military and their families.

Help Our Heroes is a fundraiser supporting Manasota Operation Troop Support, an organization developed to help these troops and their families - before, during and after deployment.

About the cause:

Manasota Operation Troop Support (MOTS) was started in 2007 as a grass roots organization at King Middle School by a teacher, Jim Comkomcyz, whose son was serving in the Middle East and was severely wounded.  MOTS sends monthly packages to local deployed troops with ties to Manatee and Sarasota Counties who are serving in the Middle East. They and their families receive help before, during and after deployment by MOTS.

MOTS is always looking for more troops to serve. Contact Linda Craig at 941-782-0748.
